My Approach 

With a passion for wellness and supporting whole-person treatment. Trained in effective modalities that focus on mind-body healing and teaching grounding tools. I will tailor dialog and treatment plans to meet your unique and specific needs, partnering emotional work with somatic experiencing and appropriate psycho-education work.

Trained in:​

  • Brainspotting

       Brainspotting is a trauma-focused therapy that identifies specific points         in the visual field which help access unprocessed trauma stored in the             brain and body, facilitating both emotional and physical healing.                       Completed Phase 1 & 2, Specialization: Healing Shame, Self-Esteem, and         Imposter Syndrome, and 5 Day Intensive under Laura Hillsheim.

  • Neuroscience:

      Neuroscience explores the biological mechanisms of the brain and                  nervous system, providing insights into how neural processes

      impact behavior, cognition, and emotions, particularly in trauma and              mental health.

  • Somatic-Based Modalities:

      Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between mind and body,              using body-centered techniques to release trauma, regulate emotions,          and promote overall well-being.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS):

      IFS is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of distinct        “parts” or subpersonalities, each with its own emotions and roles. It helps        individuals heal by fostering harmony among these parts and                            connecting with their core “Self,” which is calm, compassionate, and                capable of leading the internal system toward balance and healing.

  • ​Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): TF-CBT integrates trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive and behavioral techniques to help clients process trauma, reduce symptoms, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

  • Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM):
    TRM is a body-based approach that helps clients learn how to regulate their nervous systems and build resilience by focusing on their body’s natural healing responses.

  • PTSD & Dissociative Disorders:
    This focuses on treating symptoms of post-traumatic stress and dissociation, helping clients re-establish a sense of safety, integrate fragmented experiences, and develop emotional stability.

  • Trauma in Attachment & Development:
    This approach examines how early attachment disruptions and developmental trauma impact emotional regulation, relationships, and identity, working to heal relational wounds.

  • Psychodynamic, Grounding, and Mindfulness:
    This combines insight-oriented exploration of unconscious patterns (psychodynamic) with grounding and mindfulness techniques to help clients manage stress and foster self-awareness.

  • Marriage & Relationship Counseling (Trauma-Informed):
    This counseling addresses relational challenges, particularly when one or both partners have experienced trauma, focusing on improving communication, trust, and emotional connection.

  • Maternal Mental Health & Lactation Coaching:

       This specialty supports mothers navigating mental health challenges during.
